Algorithms, Attention, and the Quiet Drift

A short field note. Over one reading week I watched my own attention redistribute itself across recommendation feeds — not dramatically, but cumulatively. The drift is small per session and large per month.

I have not yet theorised this; I am recording it. The unit of analysis, I suspect, is the attention-minute, not the click. A feed that does not change what you choose may still change what you notice.
